BSNL and MTNL pensioners argued that after their absorption into these organizations, they were no longer treated as government employees, affecting their pension calculations. Additionally, on January 10, 2023, officials from organizations representing BSNL pensioners engaged with Members of Parliament to discuss ongoing issues with pension revisions as per the 3rd PRC recommendations. Annual Meeting of BSNL Pensioners Association

The BSNL Pensioners Welfare Association held its sixth biennial conference on October 6, 2024, in Chapra. During the conference, pensioners expressed dissatisfaction with delays in medical facilities and the pending pension revision case in the High Court. They emphasized the need for timely medical services and the swift resolution of pension revision matters. The conference concluded with the election of new officials for the upcoming term.
